Gmail Groups & Reminders is a Chrome extension that helps users organize Gmail conversations into groups, create follow-up reminders, and back up extension data locally or to Google Drive.
The extension accesses information from Gmail that is necessary to provide its organization and reminder features.
Depending on the features used, this may include Gmail conversation identifiers, message identifiers, email addresses, subjects, labels, and other Gmail information selected or managed by the user.
The extension also uses Google account authentication when the user chooses to use Google Drive backup.

Extension settings and related data may be stored locally on the user's device using Chrome's storage functionality.
When the user chooses Google Drive backup, the extension uses Google's authentication and Drive API to create backup files in the user's Google Drive.
The extension uses the drive.file permission and does not request unrestricted access to the user's Google Drive.
We do not sell users' personal information.
We do not transfer Gmail data to our own servers.
When the user explicitly chooses Google Drive backup, the selected backup data is transferred to and stored in the user's Google Drive through Google's services.
Gmail Groups & Reminders does not use Gmail or other user data for advertising.
Data stored locally by the extension can be removed by the user through the extension or Chrome's extension settings.
Backup files stored in Google Drive can be deleted by the user from Google Drive.
We use Google's supported authentication mechanisms for Google account and Google Drive functionality.
